YAMAMOTOHONKE

Leading up to their 350th anniversary, Yamamoto Honke was established in 1677 and thrived through many wars in Kyoto and other historical events that took place. Using the famous soft of Fushimi that gives the nickname of Onna Sake for the region, Shinsei their local brand has been a favorite for locals for many years. The brewery is also deeply rooted in the culture of Kyoto where their brand Matsu no Midori is the official sake for the Omotesenkei clan of Sado, or tea ceremony
